The day, in order

One wedding a day, so the place is yours from the morning set-up to the last shuttle. Sample times: your coordinator plans the real run sheet with you.

  1. Ceremony on the lawn

    Under the peppercorn tree, with the vines behind you.

  2. Canapés among the vines

    Drinks and canapés between the rows while you two have photos.

  3. Dinner in the barrel hall

    Long tables between the barrels. Speeches go between courses.

  4. Dancing

    The floor opens after dessert, and the music plays until 11 pm.

  5. Carriages

    Shuttle buses take everyone to Cessnock and Pokolbin accommodation.

Priced per guest, with a minimum number of guests. Up to 140 guests on any package. Sample prices.

  • Lawn & Long Table

    $185per guest

    Ceremony under the tree, then dinner at long tables on the lawn: shared entrées, two mains to share and dessert.

    Minimum 60 guests. Friday to Sunday evenings, October to April.

  • Barrel Hall Feast

    $210per guest

    Ceremony under the tree, canapés in the vines, then three courses in the barrel hall and dancing among the barrels.

    Minimum 80 guests. Friday to Sunday evenings, all year.

  • Sunday Lunch

    $145per guest

    Ceremony at 11:30 am, then a long lunch in the barrel hall. Everyone is on the road by 4:30 pm.

    Minimum 40 guests. Sundays, all year.

Every package includes

  • The venue for the day: the lawn, the barrel hall and the verandah
  • Tables and chairs for every guest
  • A coordinator with you on the day
  • A 5-hour drinks package: our own wine, beer, sparkling and soft drinks
  • A wet-weather plan, set up and ready

Flowers, styling and the band are yours to choose. We send a list of local people we work with.

If it rains

The ceremony moves under the verandah of the barrel hall, still looking out over the vines. We set up both places in the morning and make the call with you by 11 am, so your guests hear one plan, early.

Dinner on the lawn moves inside to the barrel hall. The price stays the same.

Staying nearby

Shuttles run to accommodation in Pokolbin and Cessnock at the end of the night. Once you book, we send a list of places we like, from cottages in the vines to motels in town.

  • Shuttles leave at 11 pm, after the last song
  • About two hours’ drive from Sydney, under an hour from Newcastle
  • Free parking on site, and cars can stay overnight

Book a tour

Walk the lawn, the barrel hall and the verandah with us, and bring your questions. A tour takes about 45 minutes.

  1. We call you within one business day to set a time.
  2. You visit on a weekday, or on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
  3. If your date is free, we hold it for 7 days after the tour.
