Two minutes, twice a day. We’ll help with the rest.
A dental clinic just for kids in Mawson Lakes, from first tooth to first job.
Brush along with Wob
Kids can brush along at home. Bookmark it.
Time left: 2:00
Brush the yellow teeth. The yellow moves on every 30 seconds.
Your child’s first visit
It takes about half an hour, and you stay with your child the whole time. Here’s what happens.
A ride in the chair
Up, down and back again. Then we count their teeth together.
A gentle look and polish
We check each tooth and the gums, then polish with a soft, spinning cup.
A sticker and a chat
Your child picks a sticker. We talk with you about brushing, food and drinks.
The next check-up
We book it before you leave, so there’s nothing to remember.
First visit by age one, or when the first tooth appears.
Book a first visitWhat we do
Everyday care for growing teeth, and help when something goes wrong.
- Check-ups and cleans
- A look at every tooth, a clean and polish, and tips for home.
- Fissure sealants
- A thin coating painted into the deep grooves of back teeth, where food gets stuck.
- Fillings
- Tooth-coloured fillings, done gently, with a break whenever your child needs one.
- Happy gas for nervous kids
- Nitrous oxide through a small nose mask, to help them relax. They stay awake, and it wears off soon after.
- Sports mouthguards
- Made to fit your child’s teeth, for footy, netball, hockey and more.
- An orthodontic check around age 7
- We look at how the adult teeth are coming through, and tell you early if braces might help later.
Knocked or chipped tooth?
Call (08) 5550 6630 straight away. We see emergencies the same day when we can.
If an adult tooth is knocked out, pick it up by the white part, keep it in milk and come straight in. Don’t put a baby tooth back in.
What it costs
We check what you’re covered for before we start, so you know what you’ll pay.
Child Dental Benefits Schedule
If your family gets certain government payments, your child may be covered for many basic dental services. We check eligibility for you and bulk bill eligible kids.
Health funds
We claim on the spot, you pay any gap. Bring your fund card along.

If your child is nervous
Lots of kids are. Here’s what we do differently, and you can tell us about any worries when you book.
Book a visit- Tell, show, do
- We tell your child what comes next, show them on a finger, then do it. No surprises.
- A hand up means stop
- Before we start, we agree on a signal. Hand up, and we stop for a break.
- You stay in the room
- Sit beside the chair and hold their hand. Little ones can have their check on your lap.
- Quiet times
- Ask for the first appointment of the day, when the waiting room is quietest.
